Ian Waldram, one of IOSH’s trustees, will be speaking at a conference being organized by the Institute of Health and Safety (IHS). The conference, under the title of, “Health and Safety; the Seven Deadly Sins”, will take place at 1pm on July 3rd at the Radisson SAS, St. Julians. The theme for the afternoon will be the business case in favour of managing health and safety at work effectively, on the basis of evidence that shows there are real and tangible benefits to be gained in this way.

Chris Hudson, Director of Training and Consultancy at IHS revealed that persuading IOSH to send such a respected speaker was quite a coup, which reflects the importance this world-renowned organization attaches to supporting professional development in the field of health and safety. He said he felt that all those attending would experience a worthwhile, stimulating and enjoyable event which would also provide some practical ideas for achieving greater business efficiency. Places are still available and further details may be obtained by calling 21 311 966 or e-mail: info@ihs.com.mt.
