21 Apr 08         Health and Safety gets better and better

The Institute of Health and Safety has just released the results for its candidates who sat for the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Health and Safety in January. They were delighted to find that they had broken past records, with 11 of the 14 candidates achieving a pass standard, one of whom was awarded a rare Credit Pass. This represents a pass-rate of 79% which is around 30% better than the international average. The three candidates that did not manage an overall pass this time will have the opportunity to repeat one or more parts of the assessment at a later date.

People who earn this qualification do so by being assessed by one of the world’s leading awarding bodies in health and safety, and that is why holders of the NEBOSH International General Certificate are recognised by employers as having reached a standard upon which they can rely. Many of those who are successful at this level go on to further study to enable them to become fully-fledged health and safety professionals.

The next NEBOSH course will begin on August 22nd. For details please contact the Institute of Health and Safety on info@ihs.com.mt.
