About Us

The Institute of Health & Safety (IHS) was launched in May 1996, with the aim of promoting the health, safety and well being of people at work. IHS forms part of a group of companies falling under the umbrella of SJC Holdings, with interests in the medical and pharmaceutical fields as well as the fire and safety ambit.

Our aim is to increase the health and safety awareness at the place of work, as well as providing the necessary training and information on Health and Safety to our clients. We aim to provide our clients with the highest standards of health and safety training and consultancy, and thus follow recommendations established by internationally recognised bodies.

IHS is accredited by the National Examining Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) to run its NEBOSH International Certificate on its behalf. IHS has also be awarded the accreditation form the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) to run a number of health and safety courses.

All the trainers at IHS are registered with the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA), meaning that they are qualified and approved by the local competent regulatory body to deliver training courses.
